I have this new perfume called kenneth cole reaction. I swear it smells like i think the color purple would smell. Makes me think of grapes, freesia's, lilacs, just purple.

Blue smells like Playdoh.

Purple smells like fresh flowers.
Yellow smells like Lemon.
Mauve smells like... well hell I don't know what color Mauve is.
Fuscia smells like the tounge.
Neon colors all smell like petrol.
And finally....
Orange smells bad!

to know what colours truly smell like, i think we'd have to ask someone blind from birth
our 'scents' of colour can be grouped because of what we've seen and we immediately associate an olfactory memory with a visualisation
smell is such an incredible trigger of emotion, just one whiff of mum's cake baking, or the scent of an ex-lover's cologne, or the smell of lilies can make me ecstatically happy, emotionally charged or devastatingly sad...every single emotion can be stimulated by our sense of smell
